OSU undergraduate students in the mammalogy class taught by Bryan Carstens learned today about museum techniques in the MBD from collection manager Stephanie Malinich.
The students helped with verifying the identification of various mammal skulls.

Like every spring semester the Ohio Birds class is in full swing! 56 students are eager to learn about the life of birds and how to identify birds in the field. We use our museum specimens to take close looks at detailed features on each bird and then apply this knowledge in the field.
