Biography


Dr. Jon Bossley earned his Ph.D. in Environmental Science at the Ohio State University. He is currently an Associate Professor of Biology and Coordinator of the Environmental Biology program at Mount Vernon Nazarene University (MVNU), where he teaches several courses including Freshwater Ecology, Principles of Ecology, Field Zoology, two Botany courses, and Tropical Ecology (in Belize). Additionally, he has taught Taxonomy and Behavior of Aquatic Invertebrates at the OSU Stone Lab. He has been a volunteer and associate with the Triplehorn Insect Collection since 2014.
