Biography

Elijah Talamas is the curator of Hymenoptera at the Florida State Collection of Arthropods. He is a specialist on the taxonomy and systematics of parasitoid wasps in the superfamily Platygastroidea, and work includes species descriptions, phylogenetics, morphology, and paleontology. In the past decade, work has focused on egg parasitoids of invasive stink bugs, conducted in collaboration with multiple biological control communities.
