Engaging with Insects - Summer Day Camp

Join the Ohio State University Triplehorn Insect Collection and Department of Entomology to learn about insect diversity, classification and natural history.
 
Campers will engage with insects when they:
 

- Collect, identify & mount insects

- Build their own collection

- Observe & handle live insects at the insectary

- Learn how to care for a pet insect

Engaging with Insects is open to youth entering grades 6, 7 and 8 in fall 2016. The $200 camp fee includes all activities, supplies, camp t-shirt, snacks and lunch on Friday. Camp is based at the Nationwide & Ohio Farm Bureau 4-H Center, 2201 Fred Taylor Dr., on the OSU campus.
