Before you start, please read our voucher deposition policy and guide.
Provide detailed taxonomic information about voucher(s). Include genus and species names when applicable. If multiple taxa, attach a file with list of species / specimens.
Attach file with details about your request, list of taxa, list of specimens, etc., if necessary.
Name of the research project / scientific study the specimens are vouchers of.
If the research has been published, please include full literature reference(s) of publication(s) citing the vouchers.
NOTE: Type status is only valid after publication following the Code of Zoological Nomenclature rules.
Note: We cannot accept bulk samples, wet or dry, as research vouchers.
Upload pdf file with all collecting, exporting/importing permits associated with the specimens.
Include copies of collecting, exporting / importing permits, USFW forms if/when applicable, and any other document that applies to the legal removal of the specimens from the wild and the transportation of the specimens away from the place of collection, and any proof of ownership by the person depositing the vouchers.
