Ohio State is in the process of revising websites and program materials to accurately reflect compliance with the law. While this work occurs, language referencing protected class status or other activities prohibited by Ohio Senate Bill 1 may still appear in some places. Biological museums work to digitize and publish entire collections.

Museums around the globe, including at Ohio State University, are trying to harness the power of digital technology to make available collections that have long lay dormant on shelves and in dusty cabinets. Norman F. Johnson, an entomologist and director of the Triplehorn Insect Collection at Ohio State, said he and his colleagues at the Museum of Biological Diversity have been working on its database since the mid-1990s. Reported by Erik Olsen for the New York Times.
