Ethan Calvert, undergraduate student researcher here at the Triplehorn Insect Collection & the Johnson Lab, presented a scientific poster at the prestigious Denman Undergraduate Research Forum on March 29. The forum took place at the OSU RPAC. 

The title of Ethan's poster is: 'Genome Sequencing of the Mitochondrial CO-1 gene in Platygastroidea Telenominae' Authors: Ethan Calvert, Huayan Chen, Zach Lahey & Norman Johnson.

In the four months that he worked in this project, Ethan went from knowing little about the topic to the competency we expect of a graduate student.
