A very special specimen of Carpenter bee
New publication highlights the value of collection specimens and the importance of making specimen level data widely available to the scientific community.
A single specimen of Carpenter bee collected in Canada in the 1940's and deposited at the Triplehorn Insect Collection helped scientists in their quest to understand how these bees might get introduced to new areas.
